PURPOSE:To transfer heat excellently and make the heat exchanger compact by a method wherein the arrangement of fins or heat transfer tubes is changed in accordance with the flow speed to uniform the flow speed of external fluid which flows into the heat transfer tubes. CONSTITUTION:External fluid flows orthogonally to the heat transfer tube 1 as shown by the arrow sign 4 in the diagram. The intervals of the heat transfer tubes 1 are made closer at the central part of the heat transfer tubes B, equipped with the fins, whereat the speed of external fluid or an airflow is high in accordance with corresponding flow speed distribution of the fluid. The flow resistance with respect to the external fluid is increased at the central part of the heat transfer tube B equipped with the fins, whereat the heat transfer tubes are arranged densely, and the fluid becomes hard to flow, therefore, the speed of the external fluid, passing around the heat transfer tube 1, becomes substantially equal to the same passing through the outer part of a duct. Accordingly, the flow speed of external fluid is uniformed, the heat transfer amount of the heat transfer tube equipped with fins is increased and, therefore, the performance of the heat exchanger may be improved while the compact and inexpensive heat transfer tube equipped with fins may be obtained. |
