PURPOSE:To save the number of pins in circuit integration by using an input of each control signal and an input of a digital video signal in a video signal controller controlling the video signal with the digital signal. CONSTITUTION:An A/D converter 2 digitizes the input analog signal fed to an input terminal 1 and inputs the result to a digital signal processing circuit 9 via a digital multiplexer 13. The digital signal processing circuit 9 processes digitally the inputted digital video signal and outputs respectively synchronizing signals H, V and color signals R, G, B. On the other hand, a control signal generating means 14 generating a picture control signal is connected to the other terminal of the multiplexer 13. The multiplexer 13 switches synchronizingly a picture signal of the A/D converter 2 and the control signal of a control signal generating circuit 14 and controls the picture via the multiplexer 13.
