PURPOSE:To carry out automatically operation of seed collection of glass product prepared in a wide variety in a small amount, by using a device consisting of a revolving shaft arm, a longitudinal shaft arm, a vertical shaft arm, and a bracket attaching the vertical shaft arm and the longitudinal shaft arm to positions separated at given distances, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The bonding pole 8 is attached to the revolving shaft arm 1, and the ball 6 is moved to the point A. The ball 6 is rotated at low speed, transferred to the point B, and a glass seed is wound round it. The ball 6 is rotated at middle speed, moved to the point A, and the wound glass seed is wound. When the ball 6 is moved to the point p0, the ball 6 is rotated at high speed, and the winding end extending to the glass seed is cut. The ball 6 is rotated at low speed, moved to the point P1, the ball 6 is then moved to the point P2, the glass seed is dropped on the mold 19 and cut by the scissors 18. The ball 6 is moved to the point P1 while rotating at low speed. The ball 6 is then moved to the point P0, the rotation is stopped, and the seed end attached to the ball 6 is dropped in crucible 15. The series of the operations are carried out repeatedly and continuously.
