PURPOSE:To quickly and certainly execute the ON-OFF operations of on-load tap changer and make a changer small in size by providing a plurality of vacuum switch and time difference mechanism to a quick change mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The quick change operation mechanism 1 is structured like a box with the upper metal 4A, lower metal 4B and an insulating support 2 which supports said upper and lower metals, a time difference mechanism 25 is housed in such a box, the rods 27A, 27B extruded from both ends of box are inserted through the metals 4A and 4B, respectively, and the first vacuum switch VS1 and second vacuum switch VS2 are connected to the end portions of rods.
