PURPOSE:To make an irregularity of the envelope of characters smooth and to make characters easy to read by reading out character data that are developed in a two-dimensional memory and outputting them into a shift-resister for window and by modifying one bit in the center. CONSTITUTION:A read out circuit 12 reads out dot data that are developed in a two-dimensional memory 11 by raster-scanning, and transmits, for instance, as much data as those of 5 raster-scanning lines to a shift register 13 to store. The output of respective shift-registers 16-20 of the register 13 is connected respectively with shift-registers 21, 22, 23, 24 and 25 that constitute a shift-register 14 for windows. The two-dimensional memory 11 is scanned throughout the whole regions by the shift-register 14 for windows, five bits in parallel and a bit by a bit successively, and ROM 15 compares each bit of 5X5 bits which enters from the shift register 14 for windows to determine whether it is white or black, i.e. ''1'' or ''0'', and modifies C2 bit as ''1'' or ''0'' and outputs from a terminal F. |
