PURPOSE:To make it possible to utilize energies with high efficiency by systematizing a device for cooling and heating individually the inside of a room and a heat storage body for coping with a peak load at the time of cooling and heating the room. CONSTITUTION:The titled system comprises a heat storage portion 12 constituted of a gel-like latent heat storing material and installed in an unused space outside the residential space within a room such as a space in the ceiling or the like. In the system, a compressor 10 is driven by utilizing relatively cheap midnight power at night time, and a coolant cooled in a condenser 11 by the changeover of a changeover valve 17 is caused to flow in a cold medium coil to perform heat storage in the heat storage portion 12. Upon this occasion, a blower 5 is a stop condition. At the normal driving time in daytime, circulation air is introduced from a return gallery 6 by opening a damper 21 and closing a damper 22, and further at the peak operation time, the circulation air is introduced from a return gallery 19 by closing the damper 21 and opening the damper 22. In this case, circulation air is subjected to primary cooling by the heat exchange with the heat storage portion 12, and a thermal load is reduced. Similar procedures as described above are carried out with respect to the space heating operation.
