PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of defective molding such as a pin hole, a blister and a burn mark from generating, by performing compression molding while vacuum drawing is being performed within a molding space part at the time when a cavity side part is clamped to a force side part. CONSTITUTION:A molding material M is set in a molding space part 1a of a force side part 1, and a cavity side part 6 is clamped to the force side part 1. Simultaneously with the above matter a vacuum drawing device 5 is acted, and the major part of air existing within the molding space part 1a and a part of air in the molding material M is exhausted for a period of time until the bottom part of a fitting protrusion 6a of the cavity side part 6 is brought into contact with the molding material M. Then the molding material M is softened as pressure is applied to the molding material M by bringing the fitting protrusion 6a of the cavity side part 6 into contact with the molding material M and fluidization is started. Along with the above matter, the air in an air bubble existing within the molding material M is pushed out and exhausted outside completely by the vacuum drawing device 5. On the one hand, as for the molding material M, which is compressed and molded while it is being heated, gelation is started, compressed into a form of a molded article and cured completely.
