PURPOSE:To apply a magnetic field which is uniform over a wide range to pakced magnetic powder by using a highly magnetically permeable material to form inside wall members perpendicular to the magnetic field direction of the inside wall mambers constituting the inside wall surfaces of a molding space and providing recesses which dent in the magnetic field direction in accordance with the magnetic field distribution to the inside surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:The bodies of the inside wall members 3, 3' prpendicular to the magnetic field direction X out of the inside wall members 3, 3', 5, 5' constituting the four inside wall surface of the molding space S are formed of the highly magnetically permeable material in a die 1 for pressure molding of the magnetic powder in the magnetic field. The circular arcuate recesses 7 denting in the direction X are formed on the inside surface parts in a way as to correspond to the magnetic field distribution. The inside surface members 3b, 3b' having the smilar circular arcuate projecting parts are fitted thereto and are united in one body thereto by brazing.
