PURPOSE:To obtain the titled corrosion-proofing paint having especially high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion and hydrogen embrittlement, by mixing a synthetic resin with flaky amorphous alloy powder having a thickness thinner than a specific level, at a ratio to give a specific alloy powder content. CONSTITUTION:The objective corrosion-proofing paint can be prepared by mixing a synthetic resin, preferably polyurethane resin, silicone resin, epoxy resin or vinyl resin with flaky amorphous alloy powder having a thickness of <=5mum at a ratio to give a metallic powder content of 20-70vol%. The alloy paint is preferably composed of about 10(atom)% Cr, about 5% Mo, about 14% P, about 6% C and the rest part of Fe and inevitable impurities. USE:Apparatus or construction used in seawater, nuclear power plant, and other plants in energy industry.
