PURPOSE:To perform the measurement of a big capacity in short time and with higher accuracy by equipping with a charging and discharging control part making a sub-hopper drop the insufficiency for the target value calculated from the detected actual weight. CONSTITUTION:A twin-tank type measuring hopper is equipped with a charging and discharging control part (shuttering mechanism) 5, 22 calculating the insufficiency for the target value from the detected actual weight and making a subhopper 21 drop the insufficiency thereof. When a powdery granular body to be thrown into a main body 2 of a hopper reaches around the quantitative value, the powdery granular body existing around the entrance of a charging chute 20 exceeds a rest angle and the powdery granular body of the part thereof is thereby flowed into the sub-measuring hopper 21 at low speed. Even if, therefore, the shuttering mechanism 22 is closed, the force that the shuttering mechanism 22 receives from the powerdry granular body is small and the measuring signal of a load cell 23 measuring the weight of the sub-hopper 21 has less vibration and becomes a correct weight signal and the measurement of a big capacity can be correctly performed in short time.
