PURPOSE:To enable the correct measurement of a temperature at all times by a constitution wherein a timer is started when the gradient of measured temperature reaches a prescribed value and the temperature at a time point of the end of timing of the timer is read as a measured body temperature. CONSTITUTION:A temperature is converted into an electric signal by a temperature sensor 11, and then this signal is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 12 and taken in CPU13. Based on a program stored in a memory 14, CPU13 takes in the temperature signal from the converter 12 at every sampling time. Whether the gradient of a change in the temperature reaches a prescribed time is detected from a change in the temperature signal, and when it reaches the prescribed time, a timer 18 is started. The timer 18 counts for a prescribed time a clock signal delivered from a reference oscillator 17, and when timing comes to the end, a buzzer 19 is made to sound. Thus, a correct temperature is measured at all times even when a time at which the temperature sensor 11 is set at a measured part is varied after a power source switch 16 is turned ON. |
