PURPOSE:To provide a heat transfer tube of a high heat transfer effect which is easy to manufacture by tightly fixing the outer periphery of a spiral coil of metal fine wires inserted into a metal tube to the inner surface of the metal tube. CONSTITUTION:The outer periphery of a coil 2 formed by winding fine wires 2a such as copper, brass or the like inserted within a metal tube 1 made of copper or the like is tightly fixed to the inner surface of a tube 1, and plating is carried out thereon. A nodular or dendritic precipitate P is formed on the inner surface of the tube 1 in which the coil 2 is set. The heat transfer area of the inner surface of the tube 1 is increased by the coil 2, and the flow of a coolant within the tube 1 becomes turbulent. When the winding pitch of the coil 2 is made dense, a capillary phenomenon occurs, and nucleus boiling tends to occur and the heat transfer efficiency is improved. Respective operations are effectively promoted and further heat transfer efficiency is improved. |
