PURPOSE:To slide sliding parts, which are made up of the surface of a ceramics member and the opposing faces, with a minimal power loss with respect to a thrust load by immersing the sliding parts in propylene glycol solution and turning the sliding parts therein. CONSTITUTION:An upper receiving plate 12 is stuck to the upper supporting body 2 of a rotary shaft 1 while a lower receiving plate 13 is stuck to a lower supporting body 7 which is held on the spherical face 5 of a fixed shaft 4. A ceramics plate 10 is firmly placed between both the plates 12 and 13. A spiral groove is shaped on the surface of the ceramics plate 10, which is housed in a bearing case 14 filled with propylene glycol solution A. By using propylene glycol as a lubricating means for the sliding face of the spiral groove, friction coefficient will be minimized and therefore a power loss can be reduced. |
