摘要 PURPOSE:To use a chrominance components processing IC for beta system for 8 mm VTR by converting the frequency of chrominance components corresponding to other recording systems with using the frequency converting circuit of chrominance components corresponding to a recording system. CONSTITUTION:The chrominance components of 3.58 MHz inputted from an input terminal is inputted to an ACC circuit 2 and adjusted to make its ampli tude a fixed level. The output of the ACC circuit 2 is converted by a frequency converter 4, and made to the low band conversion chrominance components of 743 KHz (743 KHz is for 8 mm VTR) and inputted to an output terminal 5. The output is superposed on an FM modulation brilliance signal and recorded in a tape. In the case of 8 mm VTR, carrier for conversion (4.32 MHz) given to the frequency converter 4 is given to a phase reversing circuit PI 20 through a circuit shown by a circuit block 22 besides a chrominance components processing IC 21 for beta system. However, in the case of beta system (4.27 MHz), the output of a BPF 14 is applied directly to the PI 20.
