PURPOSE:To make an actuator small-sized and thin and to extend the tracking following-up range by controlling the motion of an object lens in the tracking direction by the rotation of a parallel plate which is fixed at two points on diagonal lines of the bottom face of a bearing and has the other end fixed to an actuator substrate. CONSTITUTION:An object lens 10 is fixed by a piston-shaped lens holder 11 and is adhered to a focusing coil 12. Four frame type tracking coils 13 are arranged and fixed in four corners on the coil 12. The lens holder 11 is just fitted to a cylindrical bearing 14. Consequently, the object lens 10 is accurately moved uniaxially in the focus direction. A parallel plate 15 is attached to the bottom face of the bearing 14, and a part of this plate is fixed at tow points on diagonal lines of the bottom face of the bearing 14. These fixing points are rotated freely. The other end of the parallel plate is fixed to an actuator substrate 16 freely rotatably. Thus, the small-sized and thin actuator which has a wide tracking following-up range is obtained. |
