PURPOSE:To avoid step-out of a step motor by changing every moment the target step position of a step motor which controls opening of a throttle valve, and controlling a step position following such change. CONSTITUTION:At Step 101, a pedalling signal S1 of an accelerator pedal is converted from analog to digital by an A/D converter 50f. At Step 102, the converted digital signal calculates a target step position of a step motor 4 which decides target opening degree of a throttle valve, and its value is loaded in RAM. Main processing routine 100 repeats the steps 101, 102, based on ever- incoming pedalling signals S1 of an accelerator pedal. Thus, step-out of the step motor can be avoided.
