PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle and a communication system that reduce traffic when rewriting data is communicated.SOLUTION: A reprogramming device divides stored reprogramming data and generates communication frames (step S1); puts dummy data in each of the communication frames on the basis of a predetermined rule (step S2); and transmits a series of communication frames generated by going through steps S1 and S2 to an ECU (step S3). The ECU receives the series of communication frames transmitted by the reprogramming device (step S4); decodes reprogramming data from the received series of communication frames on the basis of the predetermined rule (step S5); and rewrites data in the ECU on the basis of the decoded reprogramming data (step S6).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
