PURPOSE:To facilitate a transshipment to a parent ship from a launch being furious in dipping and heaving ever so easy, by controlling a turning mechanism for a gangway with a signal out of a takeup drum so as to keep a distance between a gangway tip end and a magnetic weight constant. CONSTITUTION:A tension string 4 drawn out toward a tip end of a gangway 1 from a takeup drum 3 passes through a block 5, hanging down vertically, and a magnetic weight 6 is slung on the tip end. The takeup drum 3 is provided with a sensor 3a having a revolving speed detecting function, and this sensor 3a issues a signal to a hydraulic cylinder 7 installed beneath a lower landing 13 of the gangway, making it expand or contract, thus rotation of the gangway 1 is made so as to be performable centering on a support shaft 8 installed on the lower landing 13.
