PURPOSE:To provide a composition having excellent weld strength, impact resistance and heat resistance, and usable in wide application range, by compounding a polyphenylene ether, a modified block copolymer and a styrene resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 5-90(wt)% polyphenylene ether is compounded with (B) 3-80% modified block copolymer obtained by grafting a monomer having ethylenic double bond to a vinyl aromatic compound-conjugated diene block copolymer and (C) 1-85% styrene resin. The component A used has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.2-1dl/g, preferably 0.3-0.7dl/g in chloroform at 30 deg.C, and the component B is a graft copolymer having a graft ratio of 0.05-25% and obtained by grafting acrylic acid, etc., to a styrene-butadiene block copolymer. The component C is preferably polystyrene.
