PURPOSE:To enable satisfaction of a demand flow rate of fuel both during low load operation and high load operation, by a method where in a plunger is opened by applying a given pulse signal on the solenoid of an injector, and fuel is injected 2 times during one full suction stroke. CONSTITUTION:By means of an ignition signal from an ignition coil 12, the number of revolutions of an engine is detected by a pulse signal shaping circuit 13, an intake air amount is detected by an airflow meter 8 and a throttle position sensor 9, and the intake air flow rate per each cycle of an engine is computed by a computing circuit 14. By means of the computed air flow rate, a load state is detected with the aid of a cooling water temperature sensor 15, an intake air temperature sensor 16, and an intake air pressure sensor 10, the result is corrected by a correcting means 17, and a voltage is corrected by a voltage correcting circuit 19. A fuel injection amount optimum to the state of an engine is calculated to a value in the case of 1-suction 2-suction, and the result is oscillated as a pulse signal to the solenoid of an injector 3.
