PURPOSE:To provide a driving device of NC roll feeder which can follow high- speed operation, reduce a motor drive unit in size, facilitate synchronization, reduce the cost. CONSTITUTION:In a roll feeder adapted to release a pair of feed rolls 1, 4, a motor for rotating the feed rolls 1, 4 is separated from a motor 6 for releasing the feed rolls 1, 4. The motor 3 for rotating the feed rolls 1, 4 and the motor 6 for releasing the feed rolls 1, 4 are time-sharing driven by a single motor drive unit. Thus, the operation for releasing the feed rolls 1, 4 is performed by the motor 6 to improve the following ability for high speed operation, and further the motor 3 and the motor 6 have a single motor drive unit in common by time-sharing to improve the efficiency of utilization.
