The invention relates to a process and a resonant device for generating elastic waves of high energy in hot liquid mediums, to be applied in the field of thermal and thermal-chemical treatments performed in baths with warm oil, salts or molten metals. According to the invention, the process generates the elastic waves of high energy in hot liquid mediums which have temperatures of up to 600°C, where the source of oscillations is a resonant bar fixed in the node of the free oscillation, which is excited by an electromagnet supplied with an alternating current which has the network frequency of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, so that high-amplitude oscillations are achieved at the free end immersed in the liquid medium. As claimed by the invention, the device used for carrying out the process, comprises a resonant bar (1) with rectangular cross-section made of a high elasticity ferromagnetic steel, fixed, in the middle, with some fixing grips (2), by means of a clamping system (3) placed on a supporting body (4), and an electromagnet (5) acts upon the upper end of the resonant bar, a system (6) for adjusting the air-gap, together with a module (7) of voltage control, providing the control of oscillation amplitude in accordance with the frequency of the electric network of 50 Hz or 60 Hz, the free end of the resonant bar being immersed in a liquid medium (10), generating therein a field of elastic waves of high intensity, and a water cooling system (8) which prevents the heat transmission towards the upper end of the resonant bar has a mass identical to that of a anti-dripping protection disk (9), both being symmetrically placed in relation to the resonant bar center. |
