PURPOSE:To produce easily and accurately an amorphous metallic member having holes and slits of optional shape by depositing an amorphous metal by evaporation on a mold consisting of a metal, etc. having prescribed projecting parts, machining away top ends of the projecting parts and dissolving away the mold. CONSTITUTION:The mold having the prescribed projecting parts 2 is prepd. and the amorphous metal 3 is deposited by a vapor deposition method on such mold. The top ends of the projecting parts 2 are then machined away by a method such as cutting. The amorphous metal sticking to the top ends of the projecting parts 2 is thereupon removed as well and only the amorphous metal sticking to the parts between the projecting parts 2 remains consequently on the surface of the mold 1. The mold 1 is then dissolved away by using an acid, etc., by which the amorphous metallic member 5 formed with many holes 4 is obtd.
