PURPOSE:To constitute the titled device so that an unnecessary beam current is not emphasized, by emphasizing a beam current, only in case a color difference signal modulates the third quadrant, and stopping the emphasis of the beam current, in case a level of a color carrier wave signal decreases. CONSTITUTION:When a vector of a B-Y signal is entered into the third quadrant, an output of a comparator 41 becomes an H level. In the same way, when a vector of an R-Y signal is entered into the third quadrant, as well, an output of a comparator 42 becomes an H level. Accordingly, when a signal C is a green system, both outputs of both the camparators 41, 42 become an H level. In case a color of a object is a green system, an output of a BPF 22, namely, a level of a color carrier wave drops, an output of a comparator 51 becomes an L level and an AND gate 60 is closed, therefore, the first input terminal 1 of a mixing circuit 70 becomes an L level, a beam current is not emphasized, and it becomes a current of an electron beam which is set by a variable resistor 13.
