<p>November 15, 1996 Putter Grip This design of the grip is intended to help: 1. The path of the putter head to stay on the intended line of direction longer. 2. Keep the angle of the face of the putter square to the intended line of direction longer. 3. Make it easier to do both of the above. This will help to hit more accurate putts. The grip has a counter balance weight. The grip design incorporates an angle from the axis of the grip to the axis of the putter shaft slot. This is evident when viewed facing the face of the putter head. Thus, the hands are not around the shaft while holding the grip, but more between the putter and the body of the player. The hands, wrists, arms and stoking movement are more natural when using the putter. The grip is adapted to the users/player. This causes more accurate performance. The composition and dimensions are within the rules of golf.</p> |
