PURPOSE:To stop a motor in a state that proper pressure is added to a paper feed roller, by installing an operating member which turns a pass of light on or off at each zone. CONSTITUTION:At the point that a rear edge 823 of a light passing window 822 comes to near a slit 812, an operating member shifts from a first lift-up zone theta1 to an inertial lift-up zone theta2, therefore light passing comes on. And, the slit 812 passes through the zone theta2, and enters a second lift-up zone theta3 by little inertia force. In consequence, the light passing comes off whereby a reversible motor is redriven. And, when a front edge of the operating member 820 runs past the slit 812, a power source of the reversible motor is turned off. Here, since the zone theta2 is set so as to become a shorter built-up period than a build-up period T of the zone theta1, inertia of the reversible motor in this is small, whereby the rotation stop at once. That is to say, an upward velocity of copying paper is little whereby this copying paper comes into a state of being contacted with a first paper feed roller with proper pressure.
