The present invention allows a care-receiver to transfer his/her body unassisted and to demonstrate his/her remaining physical capacity. A seat part (120) of a transfer device (100) has left and right seat plates which move rotationally. A care-receiver (H) pulls on a pulling block (130) using the arms or hands, and places the soles of the feet on foot plates (143R, 143L), which causes the knees to move upward and create a space (S) between the upper and lower legs. With this space (S) created, the care-receiver (H) puts the left and right seat plates into the seating position, and scoots forward on the buttocks to move from a bed (B) onto the seat plates placed in the seating position. The care-receiver (H) then grasps forward-advancement grips (161R, 161L) with the hands and walks while sitting on the seat plates. |
