PURPOSE:To uniformly cure a compsn. curable by active energy rays by rotating a coating material formed by coating the above-mentioned compsn. on the surface of a base material in such a manner that the center of the coating material is the center of a revolving shaft and scanning the active energy rays in the radial direction. CONSTITUTION:The coating material formed by coating the compsn. 3 curable by active energy rays on the surface of the base material 2 is kept rotated in such a manner that the center of the coating material is the center of the revolving shaft. A radiation source 4 for the active energy rays is provided above said material and the active energy rays by the source 4 are scanned in the radial direction, by which the compsn. 3 is cured. As a result, the compsn. 3 is cured and a curing device is made smaller and simpler. Since the capacity of the radiation source 4 can be made smaller, the workability is considerably improved.
