PURPOSE:To improve the durability and the control stability of a tire, by forming belt layers with rayon cords and the like and forming them in a folded structure comprising plies, respective pairs of which having a folded part are laminated in a maltilayer manner. CONSTITUTION:A carcas layer 3 composed of a textile cord is interposed between a pair of right and left bead parts while belt layers 2 are disposed on the carcas layer 3, annularly in the peripheral direction of the tire. In this case the belt layers 2 are formed by, for example, rayon cords, having the thickness of 1,650 D/3 and the end No.30-45, and the like. Further, the belt layers 2 are formed in a folded structure comprising six sheets of ply 2a-2f provided with a pair of plies having a folded part 4a at one end in the width direction of the tire, a pair of piles superposed thereon and having a folded part 4b at the other end in the width direction and a pair of plies superposed thereon further and having a folded part 4c at the one end in the width direction.
