PURPOSE:To control returning a speed to a waiting position of a traveling body by moving relatively a pair of LED and photo-electric elements arranged with a shading plate between interlocking with the traveling body, and judging the position of the traveling body basing on output level of the photoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION:When the level of output signals SP of a shading plate 6 is larger than the threshold value SL 1, output signals S1 of a comparator 11 and output signals S2 of a comparator 12 become 'H'. Thereby, a controlling section 13 judges that a traveling body 3 is not at a waiting position HP and nearby position and applies a driving signal corresponding to maximum returning speed V1 to a motor 14 and shifts the traveling body 3 in the direction HP at maximum returning speed. In the state where the traveling body 3 comes close to the position HP and an interruptor 6 detected a part 5a of the plate 5, the level of signals SP is on the way to become a level L2 which is smaller than the threshold value level SL1 and larger that the threshold value level SL2, and output of comparators 11, 12 becomes 0 respectively. Thereby, the controlling section 13 judges that the position HP is approached and lower the speed of the motor, and stops when the position HP is arrived at.
