HEATING TYPE CONCENTRATOR

PURPOSE:To concentrate a liquid to be treated without oscillating the liquid surface by disposing permeable elements which are in tight contact with the peripheries of heaters spaced from the surface of the liquid to be treated and of which the lower parts are immersed into the liquid to be treated. CONSTITUTION:The heaters 2 for evaporating the liquid to be treated are provided in a vessel body 1 in which the liquid W to be treated is contained. The heaters are provided in the position spaced from the surface of the liquid to be treated. The permeable elements 3 which are in tight contact with the peripheries of the heaters 2 and of which the lower parts are immersed into the liquid to be treated are disposed to the heaters. As a result, the oscillation of the liquid surface is obviated and the splashes to be incorporated into vapor are decreased. Since the liquid is statically sucked up by capillarity, the liquid to be treated is less stirred by heat convection and the settling of sludge is accelerated. Since the temp. of the liquid phase part is made lower, the corrosion of the part in contact with the liquid is suppressed.
