PURPOSE:To position a servo system with high accuracy by adopting the structure that the height of a U-shaped part of a load arm is unbalanced and the height of the flowing end of air flow caused by the rotation of the magnetic disk is lowered more than that at the flowing-out side. CONSTITUTION:A core slider 2, a gimbals 3 and a spacer 5 are the same kind as those of known components. However, a face 4a receiving the wind pressure of a magnetic disk 1 at the U-shaped part of the load arm 4 is lowered more than the conventional height and the other face 4c is kept equal or higher slightly more than the conventional height. Since the height of the U-shaped part is unbalanced in this way, the vibration level of the magnetic head support is reduced and the positioning of the head positioning servo system is made stable and more accurate. The advantages are attained by changing characteristics such as vertical spring rigidity and attitude angle without changing conventional manufacture processes.
