摘要 PURPOSE:To enable reduction of unevenness in an air-fuel ratio occurring along with pulsation of intake air, by a method wherein a fuel injection timing is set to a point of time when an actual manifold pressure is coincided with an average pressure. CONSTITUTION:A timing, at which an average pressure of pressures in a manifold in the vicinity of a fuel injection valve 8 detected by a pressure sensor 21 is coincided with an actual manifold pressure, is detected according to the coincidence point detecting flow of a controller 23 by means of the top dead center of a piston 2 serving as a reference point. By equally allotting an injection time to point of times before and after the timing, a timing of fuel injection from a fuel injection valve 2 is set. Since a fuel injection factor during an injection period is a set fuel injection factor at a pressure regulator 16, an amount of fuel injected from a fuel injection valve 8 is a fuel amount accurately responding to a fuel injection pulse width. As a result, an air-fuel ratio is regulated about to a desired value without being influenced by intake air pulsation of an intake air passage 4 along with opening and closing operation of an intake air valve 19.
