PURPOSE:To improve lubricating ability, by making the hollow spheres of a hollow dispersoid dispersed in a base material as the oil reservoirs of lubricating oil, and holding down the oil scarcity of a sliding surface. CONSTITUTION:Glass spheres are used as the hollow dispersoid of a heat resistant material, and are compression-molded with colloidal silica aqueous solution so as to manufacture a cylindrical molded body. Then, this is composed with a matrix metal so as to be integrated. Therefore, aluminum alloy portions 3, glass spheres 4 and oil reservoirs 5 defined by the hollow portion of the glass spheres are formed on the surface portion, and lubricating oil is always retained by the oil reservoirs, so that the oil film of a prescribed thickness is formed on a sliding surface. Thereby, a seizure or a scuffing phenomenon owing to the scarcity of the oil film can be prevented, so that lubricating ability can be improved.
