PURPOSE:To improve an impact force, and to curtail the cost of equipment by providing a cylinder chamber whose upper part has been opened, on a lifting rod, also, inserting a piston through the cylinder chamber from the upper part, and also providing an air hole having a check valve, on the piston. CONSTITUTION:Forging upper and lower dies 7a, 7b are provided on the lower face of a ram 5 for ascending and descending along a guide 4a of a frame 2, and the upper face of a block 6 on an anvil 1, respectively. In the ram 5, a lifting rod 8 is formed as one body, and in its shaft center part, a cylinder chamber 9 is formed. Also, in a piston 10 which has been installed in the cylinder chamber 9, an air hole 11 provided with a check valve 12 is formed. The rod 8 is made to ascend by rotating a driving roller 20 and air in the cylinder chamber 9 is compressed, and when the rod 8 drops, an impact force is improved by its compressed air force. According to this method, a separate compressor, etc. become unnecessary, therefore, the impact force is improved, and also, the cost of equipment can be curtailed.
