PURPOSE:To shorten the rise time of an editor by developing response information before all of contents of an editing file are initially inputted through a file input system. CONSTITUTION:Information inputted from an editing file 1 through a file input system 3 is developed in an information development area 4 through a development control means 2, and developed information is displayed. In such a case, the input system 3 is controlled in accordance with initializing signals from an operation control means 5 and the means 2, and response information corresponding to developed information is developed also and is displayed on a display device before all of contents of the file 1 are inputted initially. Thus, the rise time of the editor is shortened, and the rise time is constant independently of the scale of the file to prevent an operator from fretting about the operation.
