The purpose of the present invention is to provide a surface-mounted reactor which has a magnetic shield structure capable of greatly decreasing the influence of position error between members when magnetic cores comprising a plurality of members are combined, and which has a shape that facilitates the molding of the members constituting the magnetic cores, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. The present invention relates to a surface-mounted reactor and a manufacturing method therefor. The surface-mounted reactor is provided with: a coil 60; a first magnetic core portion 5 provided with a shaft portion 5a on which the coil is disposed, and flange portions 5b, 5c disposed at both ends of the shaft portion; a second magnetic core portion 10 disposed outside the coil 60 and linking the flange portions of the first magnetic core portion 5; and a resin base portion 30 disposed outside the coil 60, wherein the second magnetic core portion 10 is configured from a plurality of members 10a, 10b that can be separated toward the outside of the coil 60, the second magnetic core portion 10 and the resin base portion 30 enclose the outer periphery of the coil 60, and an end portion 65 of the coil 60 is disposed outside the resin base portion 30. |
