PURPOSE:To remarkably decrease the weight and to reduce the processing time by forming a corrugated converter by a dielectric and providing a metallic film having a prescribed thickness on the surface. CONSTITUTION:The corrugated converters 2'a-2'f are formed by the dielectric 8. A metallic film 8 is applied to the surface of the dielectric 8 by the vapor- deposition, thermal spray or electroless plating. The thickness (d) of the metallic film 9 is selected not to leak the current and magnetic flux to the dielectric 8. Then the thickness (d) is selected to 0.5X(1/f)<1/2>-0.05X(1/f)<1/2>m, where (f) is a frequency. Thus, the weight is remarkably reduced and the processing time is decreased.
