PURPOSE:To permit construction work having high corrosion-resistant effect to be simply performed by using an anticorrosive material consisting of a swelling layer and adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:An anticorrosive material 10 formed by laminating a swelling layer 14 and an adhesive layer 15 on the inner surface of a protective cover 11 is made to cover the periphery of a structure 1 set in sea. A water-hardening resin 17 is packed into the aperture 18 between the edge of the material 10 and the periphery of the structure 1. Corrosion-preventing work can thus be simply performed without the needs for fixing the material 10 by band, etc., under pressing.
