发明名称 HOT WIRE TIG WELDING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase a deposition quantity and to improve welding efficiency by melting the wire by controlling the magnetic blow of an arc as well as using plural hot wires. CONSTITUTION:An arc 4 is generated between the lower end of a tungsten electrode 1 and the surface of a base metal 2 by connecting the lower end of the electrode 1 and base metal 2 to TIG welding power source 3 via lead wires 3a, 3b respectively. In this case a deposited metal 7 is formed on the surface of the base metal 2 by melting two pieces of wires 5, 5' with the arc 4 with heating them by wire power sources 6, 6' as well as covering the arc part 4 with the spouting of an inert gas from the lower end of the torch 1a. The magnetic blow phenomenon is completely controlled because the wires 5, 5' approach into the molten metal from the opposite direction to the electrode 1 within the same vertical face. Consequently the arc 4 is stabilized and due to plural hot wires being used the deposition quantity is increased and the welding efficiency improved.
