PURPOSE:To check normal communication by turning on a lamp corresponding to a server on the basis of a signal outputted from the server when the server accessed by a station starts connecting operation. CONSTITUTION:Plural stations 1 provided with lamp boxes 9 respectively are connected to plural servers 8 provided with respective storage devices 6 having large capacity through communication lines. When a specific server 8 accessed by a specific station 1 starts its connecting operation, a transmitting/receiving signal indicating the transmission/reception of data from/to the server 8 is fed back to the specific station 1 through the communication circuit. At that time, the station 1 turns on the lamp with the number corresponding to said server 8 out of lamps on the lamp box 9 on the basis of said transmitting/ receiving signal.
