PURPOSE:To print a picture so as to recognize that it is emphasized attribute even when it is an attribute unexpressable by a printer for character by providing a memory means, an address designating means, a storing means and a data output means and forming a specific constitution. CONSTITUTION:Character data and control data to be displayed in the screen of a CRT 3 are stored in a video memory (VRAM) 1. The character data are sent to the CRT 3 through a CRT controller 2 and displayed on the screen. In the case where an image copy is obtained by a printer, the character data of the video memory 1 are sent to the input/output port 5 of the printer through a PRTSCR routine 4a in a RAM 4. In such case, character attribute that can not be printed is converted to a specified printable character attribute, and character data which can not be printed are converted to printable character data referring to a conversion table 4b. The CPU 6 controls these picture display and image data output.
