PURPOSE:To reduce a hardware quantity required for decision, by deciding data whether it is addressed to its own equipment or not by the result of addition of a regulated number on an address signal. CONSTITUTION:In a data transfer equipment that is inserted to a data transfer path in which a data signal is transferred in one direction, and by which the data signal on which the address signal is attached, is received, a signal in which bits are arranged in series is inputted to each data transfer equipment, an after it is delayed, for example, by one bit time, the signal is outputted to a loop data transmission path. In such case, a value on which one is added on the address signal, is outputted to the loop data transfer path. And each data transfer equipment decides that the data is the one to its own equipment, when all of the results on which one is added on the address signal go to '1's. In such way, it is possible to make it unnecessary to provide a means to store the address of its own equipment, and a means to compare the address with an input address signal, and to easily receive the data addressed to its own equipment.
