PURPOSE:To eliminate a painting line for painting the surface of an outer panel by forming all outer panels for a car body construction out of synthetic resin whereby constructing each outer panel in such a way that a synthetic resin sheet covered with paint film is bonded on all the surface of an outer panel base material made of hard synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:All of a plurality of outer panels B comprising the car body of an automobile, that is, a bonnet Bb, a side panel Bs, a door panel Bd, a roof panel Br, a trunk panel Bt and the like are made of synthetic resin. These outer panels B are so constructed that a sheet made of thermoplastic synthetic resin covered with paint film F is bonded on all over the surface of an outer panel base material W made of hard synthetic resin with adhesive A. The sheet S is formed in a large size to cover all the surface of the outer panel base material W for painting urethane family paint on the surface so as to form the paint film F. And the outer panel B for the automobile is so constructed that the back of said sheet S is bonded with the surface of the outer panel base material W by means of a vacuum laminating method.
