PURPOSE:To automatically form a general relation by comparing and operating a binary relation making an individual binary a reference and learning a more general relation from the result. CONSTITUTION:A range arithmetic device 1 operates the range between respective attribute information of the inputted binary relation and a basic relation registered in a basic relation dictionary 4 in accordance with a correlation table 5, inspects the difference in the attribute, forms the binary relation making the basic relation the reference based on the result, and feeds to a relation matching device 2. The device 2 takes the matching of the fed relation to the relation registered in a general relation dictionary 6, decides whether it is included in the relations registered in the dictionary 6 or not and feeds the result to a relation forming device 3. The device 3 feeds the fed relation as it does when it is registered according to the decision of the device 2, corrects a relation indicated by a pointer when it is near to one registered and newly registers the relation when it is not registered.
