PURPOSE:To eliminate the waving of reproduction output by a shape effect and to obtain high reliability by embedding and fixing a magnetic core, which consists of trapezoidal type Mn-Zn ferrites diagonally cut off of both sides in parallel part, is formed with magnetic Fe-Al-Si films on one or both of magnetic poles and is assembled by joining such ferrites by glass, into a stabilized zirconia slider by the glass having the softening point lower than the softening point of the joining glass. CONSTITUTION:The Mn-Zn ferrite substrates 37, 38 worked with W-shaped grooves 39, 40 are prepd. and the vertex parts thereof are ground down to the dotted line part of (a)-(b) by which a prescribed track width TW is obtd. The Fe-Al-Si film 41 is formed on the worked substrate 42. A pair of the substrates 38, 39 subjected to the film formation are joined by placing an insulating layer for obtaining a prescribed gap length Ge therebetween and heating a glass rod 45 placed in a winding window part 44 so as to admit the melt thereof between the substrates. The joined block is thereafter cut to the prescribed thickness, by which the magnetic core is obtd. The magnetic core is embedded and fixed into the ceramic slider consisting of the stabilized zirconia as the main phase by using glass and heating the same.
