PURPOSE:To prevent a hitching rod from contacting against the ground and to protect the device from damage or deformation, by providing a stopper for limiting the downward rocking of the hitching rod which engages/disengages with a rod to be hitched. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 44 is provided between the front end sections of the opposite sideboards 14 of a transmission case 2 so as to limit the downward rocking of a hitching rod 35. Consequently, when a position control lever is rotated forwardly so as to lower a lift arm 4 thus lowering the hitching rod 35, the hitching rod 35 contacts against the stopper 44 so as to limit the lowering. Consequently, the pushing up due to the contact of the hitching rod against the ground is prevented and the device is protected from damage or deformation.
