FIELD: communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. Method is provided for obtaining a capability of channel spacing between component carriers used in carrier aggregation for user equipment, UE. Method is carried out in a network and includes a step of: determining, from a plurality of alternatives, capability of channel spacing for UE based on signalling between UE and network node, channel spacing capability comprising at least one of alternatives of: a multiple of 300 kHz, a multiple of 15 kHz and any other channel spacing.
