PURPOSE:To hold a main body stationary at an optional opening position which matches with height of a user and makes operation easy and to improve original changeability by pressing a rotary part which rotates integrally with a cover main body horizontally or vertically by a pressure spring body when the cover main body is opened so as to change an original, and holding the main body at a half-opening attitude with the pressing force. CONSTITUTION:The rotary part 2 rotates integrally around an opening/closing shaft 1 with the main body when the original cover main body 1 is opened or closed, and the pressure spring body 3 presses the rotary part 2 horizontally or vertically according to the rotation. When the original is changed, the cover main body 1 is opened upward and then the rotary part 2 which rotates integral ly with the cover main body 1 is pressed horizontally or vertically by the pres sure spring body 3 and the main body 1 is held stationary at the half-opening attitude A1 with the pressing force. Thus, the main body 1 is held stationary at the optional opening position which matches with the height of the user and makes the operation easy, so the changeability of the original is improved.
