PURPOSE:To fit a material onto a mandrel bar and to automate material charging by forming a taper of a specific shape to the outside peripheral face at the rear end of the mandrel bar, forming a charging guide cylinder to an inside diameter of a specific size and fitting and installing the charging guide cylinder onto the tapered part of the mandrel bar. CONSTITUTION:The taper 1a which has the radius r1 decreasing toward the rear end and the outside radius r2 at the rear end face is formed to the outside peripheral face at the rear end of the mandrel bar 1. The inside diameter of the charging guide cylinder 10 is designated as D and the cylinder 10 is fitted and installed freely movable forward and backward in the axial length of the bar 1 onto the bar 1 in such a manner that the tapered end of the mandrel bar can move in and out. The relation among the bar 1, the cylinder 10 and the material 2' is required to satisfy the equation in order to the material 2' to be surely fitted onto the bar 1. In the equation, r is the outside radius mm of the material 2', t is the thickness mm of the material 2' and r1 is the outside radius mm of the bar 1.
